Drive to El Chaltén: Travel 220 km (~3 hours) by vehicle through Los Glaciares National Park to the mountain village of El Chaltén. Duration: 8 hours • Admission Ticket Free
2. Scenic Drive & Landmarks (Pass By)Lago Argentino: Pass by Argentina's largest Patagonian lake.
Mirador Lago Viedma: Drive alongside Lake Viedma with the Andes, Fitz Roy, and Cerro Torre in the background.
3. Trekking Route & Base Camp
Hostería El Pilar to Base Camp: Drive through the Río de las Vueltas valley to Río Blanco / Hostería El Pilar. Begin guided hike passing Piedras Blancas Glacier, Camp Poincenot, views of Mount Fitz Roy, and arrive at Base Camp near Laguna Capri.
