Day 1 – Tbilisi to Ananuri, Juta & Kazbegi
Scenic Drive & Ananuri Fortress: Depart Tbilisi along the famous Georgian Military Highway, stopping to explore the 16th–17th century Ananuri Castle Complex perched above the Zhinvali Reservoir.
Juta & Chaukhi Pass Hike: Arrive in the alpine village of Juta and trek deep into the Greater Caucasus. Cross mountain streams and alpine hills on an 8 km hike reaching the stunning Chaukhi Pass (3,338m) for sweeping views before descending for an overnight stay in Kazbegi.
Day 2 – Kazbegi, Gergeti Trinity Church & Gergeti Glacier

Gergeti Glacier Ascent: Undertake the most challenging and scenic leg of the trip. Follow narrow gorges and cross the Sabertse Pass to reach the massive Gergeti Glacier at 3,200 meters, sitting directly beneath Mount Kazbek. Return to Kazbegi for the night.
