DAY 1: MOMELLA GATE (1,500 M) – MIRIAKAMBA HUT (2,500 M)
Arusha NP Wildlife Trek & Fig Tree Arch
Morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha followed by a scenic drive through Arusha National Park to Momella Gate.Begin the trek accompanied by an armed park ranger, walking through open grasslands with opportunities to spot giraffes and buffaloes.Reach Maio Falls after ~2 hours for a picnic break, then continue past the famous "Fig Tree Arch".Arrive at Miriakamba Hut (~4 hours total) in time for afternoon tea, snacks, and dinner.

DAY 2: MIRIAKAMBA HUT (2,500 M) – SADDLE HUT (3,550 M)
Rainforest Ascent & Optional Little Meru Hike
Follow wooden steps along a steep rainforest track gaining altitude into cooler air.Reach the "Mgongo wa Tembo" (Elephant Back) viewpoint (3,200m) after ~2 hours for a break.Transition from rainforest into heather and moorland terrain to reach Saddle Hut (3,550m) by midday.Optional afternoon hike to Little Meru summit (3,820m, 1–1.5 hours) for expansive views of Arusha National Park and Mt. Kilimanjaro (~80 km away).

DAY 3: SADDLE HUT (3,550 M) – SOCIALIST PEAK (4,562 M) – MIRIAKAMBA HUT (2,500 M)
Night Summit Push & Crater Rim Views
Depart just after midnight with headlamps, trekking through bushland to Rhino Point (3,800m).Ascend over challenging terrain of volcanic ash, rocks, and gravel along the crater rim.Reach Socialist Peak (4,562m) after 4–5 hours to watch the sunrise over Mt. Kilimanjaro and view Mt. Meru's ash cone crater.Descend back to Saddle Hut for hot soup and rest, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for the night.

DAY 4: MIRIAKAMBA HUT (2,500 M) – MOMELLA GATE (1,500 M) – ARUSHA
Cliffs of Kichuchu & Final Descent to Mihunga Gate
Descend below Guy Yeoman Camp down the steep cliffs of Kichuchu.Follow the muddy path across the Mubuku River twice as it winds through lush bamboo forest.Continue down to Nyabitaba Camp to complete the Central Circuit loop.Complete the final descent down to Mihunga Gate by evening to finalize the expedition.Transfer to Kasese for dinner and a well-earned rest.Elevation: 3,261m down to 2,651m (Nyabitaba) to 1,615m asl (Mihunga Gate) | Descent Duration: ~7–8 hoursDuration: 7 hours | Admission Ticket Free
